The Unique Story of Sunama

The life of Japan’s top swimmer who competed in the Tokyo Olympics was not smooth sailing. Although he has always been one of the top swimmers in Japan since his junior year, he also experienced a six-year period of truancy from the fourth grade of elementary school to the third grade of junior high school.

After three years of rigorous training and living in a dormitory with his friends, the swimmer matured and was selected for the Rio Olympics at Chuo University. Throughout high school and college, he learned the importance of taking on the challenge of a big dream with his friends, and when he was selected as a representative for the Tokyo Olympics, he made it all the way to the semifinals.

IKEUCHI ORGANIC will continue to work with Sunama in a variety of activities to share with society the precious encounters he had with friends who shed tears for him and their values, which he was able to experience only because he was an athlete.

Sunama commented.

I use Organic 120 on a regular basis, and this is the best towel that has overturned the common sense of towels. I used to think that I should not seek satisfaction from towels, but this towel has changed that common sense. Soft touch, quick drying, water absorbency, everything took me to a world I have never experienced before.

Now I use Organic 120 towels for everything from practice to competitions instead of swim towels, which used to be the norm in the swimming world. The feel, quick-drying and absorbency of these towels are unlike anything I have ever experienced before, and they are indispensable in my life.
