Imabari Towel Goes Global with Bicycles

While still a student at Matsuyama University, he became one of the top mountain bike athletes in Japan. He decided to take a leave of absence from university in order to compete in the European competitions necessary to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics, a long-cherished dream of his.

He searched for sponsors, raised funds, and continued to take on the challenge.

Unique Story of Athlete Murakami

Even though Murakami is already a top athlete in Japan, he cannot compete in the Paris Olympics only in domestic competitions. He must compete in a series of events in Europe’s cycling powerhouse countries to get to the starting line of the Olympic contenders.

Murakami commented.

My favorite towel is Organic 120. I really love the feel of Ikeuchi Organic’s towels. They absorb water when you sweat, but I like the way they feel so much that I want to use them even when I am not sweating.

I wrap Ikeuchi Organic’s towels around my pillow at home and on expeditions. Even if the feel of the pillow changes, the towel always feels the same, so I can fall asleep comfortably.

I also use the towel as a towel to wipe my sweat during warming up and after races, feeling its pleasant texture.
