The "D" in D-Rocks stands for "Dynamic," "Dream," and "Delight," and the "Rocks" stands for the strength of a rock and the abbreviation "ROX," meaning "awesome" or "the best. We will continue to be a team that impresses and fascinates fans with our monolithic team strength and provide new value to the community.

The Unique Story of Urayasu D-Rocks

In recent years, rugby has been enjoying an unprecedented surge of excitement as star players from various countries have gathered in Japan.

In 2022, “JAPAN RUGBY LEAGUE ONE” was established to operate a league among club teams more closely connected to the local community.

Urayasu D-Rocks was also established after the dissolution of its predecessor, NTT Communications Shining Arcs Tokyo Bay Urayasu, when NTT Group launched NTT Sports X Corporation, a new rugby business company to operate a community-based club.

Winning” is not everything, and we hope to find innovative “value” in the future society by standing together with the local community.

The UDR players visited the Tokyo Store and tried our towels.

They chose the Organic 732-60 as their “partner” to walk with for a year.

From now on, we will support UDR’s performance improvement by continuously using one 732-60 towel per player in various situations such as practice and games.
